Overall Summary:
Duties or Responsibilities:
  • Written postdoctoral career development plan with guidance of your mentor including plans for grant and publication submissions. Spend full-time conduting research in collaboration with your mentor. Particiapte in research project meetings with your mentor and his collaborators. Publish at least one journal article as first author per year.
Qualifications or Expectations:
  • Ph.D. in physiology or Cell Biology. Experience with patch-clamp techniques, ideally on KCa3.1, KCa2.x and/or KCa1.1 channels. Experience with cell biology techniques, ideally on KCa3.1, KCa2.x and/or KCa1.1 channels. Ability to independently perform experiments and analyze data with mentoring from a faculty member. Ability to write and publish journal articles with mentoring from a faculty member.
Opportunities Available:
  • Funds will be provided to attend the annual North American Cystic Fibrosis meeting. Attend OACD workshops.
